about our work in zimbabwe

In the first few months of 2025, Zimbabwe used more internet than in the previous five years combined.

The country is going digital, and our goal is to empower all Zimbabweans with the resources, skills, and confidence to participate in this technological revolution.

Our focus is on the most vulnerable community members, who, without our interventions risk missing out on the incredible growth that is to come.

Our vision is a Zimbabwe where technology drives innovation, employment, and prosperity for all, and we are committed to working with the Government, Corporate, Philanthropic, Diaspora, and Global communities to ensure that Zimbabwe’s voice is heard.

Because we believe that technology can only be for everyone, when it’s built by everyone.

our model

innovation hubs

innovation hubs

When we identify a community in need, we partner with a local school or community center and begin fundraising to build a solar powered Innovation Hub. Our goal is not to extract talent, but to invest in community-wide change over the long term.

bootcamp program

bootcamp program

From our Innovation Hubs, we run a full-time, 12 month technology Bootcamp which is entirely free for our beneficiaries. Our students receive the resources, training, and support they need to enter the tech workforce or launch their own startup.

youth coding

youth coding

As part of their learning experience, and as a way to give back to their communities, our Bootcamp students volunteer as after school coding instructors at the nearby Government schools.

teacher training

teacher training

In addition to working with youth and young adults, we train and empower Government school teachers to confidently bring technology into their classrooms.
